If your stencil paste does become dry you may add a small amount of water and mix it well. Add little drops at a time until the correct consistency (such as sour cream) is reached. Or use a mister bottle spray the top of the paste 3 or 4 times and then stir using your multi tool or paint stir stick. Keep adding just a touch of water and continue stirring until it reaches a nice consistency. Pretty easy fix.
